LifeWorks Community Services mission is to provide opportunities for growth and achievement for persons with disabilities who face barriers to independence and integration in employment and daily living. Established in 1965 and based in Fort Dodge, Iowa, LifeWorks Community Services offers vocational, residential and community support services to individuals with mental, physical or development disabilities. 

LifeWorks Community Services offer a variety of residential services in the Fort Dodge area. These services include nine community-based waiver homes with 24 hour support, Supported Community Living services for individuals living in their own homes, and Respite.

Vocational opportunities include vocational training in a facility-based employment setting, community-based work crews, and facility-based work evaluations. Also, day habilitation programming is available to consumers. 

A volunteer Board of Directors governs LifeWorks Community Services with the day to day operations overseen by an Administrative Team. The staff at LifeWorks Community Services are committed to improving the lives of people with disabilities.
