Bob Singer-Board President For 30 years Bob Singer was in the personal and commercial lines insurance business in Fort Dodge. He co-owned and operated Calvert-Singer & Kelley Insurance Agency for 16 years until selling his interests in 2002. In that same year Bob became the Executive Director of the Fort Dodge Area Chamber of Commerce and remained there until his election to the Webster County Board of Supervisors in November, 2007. As Bob puts it, " Serving as a Supervisor allows me to help oversee the various county departments and at the same continue actively supporting the Highway 20 4-lane expansion project." Bob and his wife, Janet, have three grown children.

Phil Reed-Vice President Along with his service on the LifeWorks Board, Phil Reed, a retired school administrator, volunteers on several church committees. In his own words Mr. Reed explains the benefits of LifeWorks.

Bob Wood-Board Member A retired teacher and fisherman, Bob is involved in the Fort Dodge city government, a local landlord, website administrator, a conservationist and founder of the Lizard Creek Blues Society. Bob also has enjoyed a 30 year career in broadcasting.
“I view my affiliation with LifeWorks as a great learning experience. It is an opportunity to help people and make decisions that will positively impact lives. The knowledge I gain from the staff of LifeWorks and the other members of the board is gratifying and helps me see a bigger picture of what we can all do to help each other. Cecilia Peralta-Board Member A physician by profession, currently full-time mother and volunteer worker, Cecilia has been involved with several community and state organizations as a sponsor and/or board member: Blanden Museum, Commission on Asian & Pacific Islander Heritage, Iowa Asian Alliance, ICCC Art Advisory Council, YWCA, among others.
“Giving back to the community is a practice I uphold and sincerely believe in. Serving in an organization which serves individuals with special needs, not only gives me great satisfaction, but also provides meaning in the direction I take as I face challenges raising a differently abled child.”

Beth Plautz-Board Member Along with managing Sun Market and Deli, Beth is active in many other areas of the Fort Dodge community including: member of the Angelman Syndrome Foundation and member of the St. Olaf Lutheran Church Hope Circle.

Nick Cochrane-Board Member A Fort Dodge native, Nick is an Attorney with Johnson, Kramer, Good, Mulholland, Cochrane & Driscoll, P.L.C.. He is also involved with the Fort Dodge Community Schools Foundation, the Webster County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, and the Community Foundation and United Way.
